the heart behind Modern Mama. My journey into this creative space began after losing my first baby Isabella Jayne at just shy of 21 weeks pregnant in 2021. I wanted to honor her memory in a meaningful way, so I had a tattoo done of her profile. This was just a small way to memorialize and hold my girl with me forever.  Since then, I’ve been using art to connect with other mamas, whether they have angel babies or earth-side ones. My designs represent the love and light I carry for my little one and all the babies I create for.

This business has been a source of healing for me, and it’s my hope to bring that same healing to others through my custom artwork. I now have two beautiful, energetic earth-side babies who are the joy of my life and who keep me on my toes! Balancing family life and my work as an ICU nurse has been a challenge, but this side hustle has allowed me to spend more time at home with my babies—a gift I will forever cherish.
